Hiroshima Photo Diary

While planning a trip to Japan may consist of the more popular cities like Tokyo and Osaka; Hiroshima has always been at the top of my list. For that specific reason I knew I wasn’t leaving Japan without having at least spent a few hours wandering the streets of this beautifully historical city. While it is somewhat of a six hour train ride from Tokyo, there’s something so serene about Hiroshima that it’s well worth a visit. Perhaps it’s the strong, undeniably sad history of being a targeted city during World War II or the heart-warming nature and overwhelming positivity of the local people. Either way, Hiroshima should be at the top of any traveller’s must-see city list.

Here is a photo diary capturing this beautiful city… full of history, new beginnings, light and love.
