Botswana is one of the top African safari destinations filled with endless wildlife and beautiful landscape views. It’s often the go-to destination for land and water safari’s!

Our trip started at Victoria Falls, celebrating my sister’s 21st birthday! As a side trip, we decided to venture out into Botswana for a day at the Chobe National Park. We started the day by crossing the border into Botswana. Traffic was crazy but eventually we made it to a little office, got our passports stamped and walked across!

Soon we made our way into the Chobe National Park for a game drive and safari water cruise! We saw tons of wildlife – from elephants to giraffe to crocodiles. We came pretty close to them too. We stopped for a quick lunch before eventually making our way back across the border to Zimbabwe. What an adventure!

Watching the great migration along the Okavango Delta is still on my bucket list along with spending a good few days in Botswana to fully explore this beautiful African country.

Here’s to going back one day!
