April is one of those in between seasons which can make planning a wanderlust-filled vacation a little difficult. Some places may be filled with endless sunshine, others with sporadic rainfall. While it is an odd time of year to travel, many do so because of the reasonable prices. Planning a trip to the right destination means that despite the weather you’ll still be able to explore and wander around some adventurous locations.
U.S Virgin Islands
With the hurricane season aside, April is one of the best months to visit the white sandy beaches of the Virgin Islands. Enjoy world-class water sports and delicious local flavors of conch fritters and Cruzan rum!

Croatia
Croatia is famous for its April wine festival which sees over 100 local winemakers showcasing their specialty wines! It’s also the time for the famous Dubrovnik half marathon in which more than a thousand people race through the medieval stone towns and mystic forests.
Peru

While temperatures do start to heat up at this time of year, sweltering hot temperatures don’t hit until late May. Since its also off-peak season, you can also get some pretty nice deals on fancy hotels overlooking the ocean.
Bali
Bali is known as one of the most popular travel destinations in the world and with good reason too. Filled with beautiful beaches, temples, markets, caves and waterfalls, you’ll be spoilt for choice. April is also the first month of the year that is not so rainy in Bali, making it one of the perfect months to visit. Hotel prices are at an all-time low and popular tourist spots are not as jam packed.
