Easy Make Smoothies

Smoothies are one of the easiest on-the-go breakfasts you can have. It takes close to ten minutes to prepare and if you’re the one making them all the better! You now have the luxury of personalizing them to your taste and coming up with some delicious concoctions. Plus, it’s a great way to load up on essential nutrients. Here are some easy smoothie-making tips and simple recipes to get you started.

1. Try to use the freshest organic ingredients available. If something is in season, use that.

  1. Invest in a good quality blender.

  2. Bananas go a long way. They add thickness and flavour to any smoothie.

  3. Get creative with your add-in ingredients: use a range of health boosts like almond milk, flax seeds, yogurt, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, chia seeds and wheat germ.

  4. Quantities: the great part about making smoothies is that you get to choose the quantities. Want more strawberries? Go ahead! Want less blueberries? Sure!
